Welcome to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) at George Mason University. We are one of the largest colleges at Mason and we deliver several of the Mason Core courses. Our home is the newest building on campus, Horizon Hall, which we like to say is “At the Center of it All!” We invite you to tour our facilities, classrooms, and labs, meet our professors, chat with current students, and read our alumni stories so you can see for yourself where a degree in the humanities and social sciences can take you.

Whether you're an aspiring undergraduate or graduate student, we offer a diverse and dynamic academic environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and societal impact. Join us on this exciting journey of exploration and growth, where you'll find a range of programs tailored to your passions and career aspirations.
